Where we cruise

Fully customized to suit your type of adventure. Cruise with us and we will show you the best natural spots for wildlife viewing and local experiences. Here’s just a selection of journey highlights to explore from Petersburg to Juneau in Southeast Alaska.

Five-Finger-Lighthouse

Five Finger Lighthouse

Historic Five Finger Lighthouse is located at the confluence of Stephen’s Passage and Frederick Sound. The island on which it sits and the surrounding waters are home to many wildlife species. As we explore these waters keep your eyes peeled for seabirds, eagles, seals, otters, porpoises and whales.

Baranof Warm Springs

While boating down Chatham Strait in southern Alaska’s great, untamed wilderness, take a break at Baranof Warm Springs. The community of Baranof Warm Springs is a small, seasonally occupied borough within Sitka, Alaska, boasting three pools nestled near a cascading waterfall.

Frederick Sound

A prime spot in our exploration. This large body of water close to Petersburg is one of the best places in the world for observing migratory humpback whales as they feed here for the summer.

Tracy Arm Fjord

…shut in by sublime Yosemite cliffs, nobly sculptured, and adorned with waterfalls and fringes of trees, bushes, and patches of flowers, but amid so crowded a display of novel beauty it was not easy to concentrate the attention long enough on any portion of it without giving more days and years than our lives can afford. – Author John Muir

The term “fjord” means a long, narrow deep-water inlet surrounded by towering cliffs, and the Tracy Arm Fjord is a stunning example. Close to Juneau but accessible only by boat or floatplane, cruise among icebergs and cascading waterfalls. With our small boat size you can get closer to fjords and glaciers in this wilderness region. It’s the Alaska you’ve been dreaming of.
