Alisa began her journey at the Art Institute in Seattle in the Culinary Arts program. She launched her chef career working at a number of high-profile Seattle restaurants, winning gold medals from the American Culinary Federation along the way. Ready for a new challenge, the lure of the wild led her North. She joined her first yacht heading for Alaska shores and hasn’t looked back since.
With 20 years’ experience on charter expeditions, expect plenty of fish and European twists. Alisa draws inspiration and knowledge from years spent in Alaska as well as past travels and culinary training in Italy. Alisa is well practiced in creating innovative dishes combining ingredients from the land and the sea that you will find no-where else.
